Founded in 2010 by a mother-and-son duo, Silver Spoon Specialties is a family-owned catering and hospitality company rooted in a farm-to-table philosophy and a commitment to refined, approachable service. What began with two food trucks has grown into a boutique catering brand known for producing all types of events from intimate gatherings to large scale galas.
Led by Jeanine Burge, with over 25 years of event planning and 17 years in catering, and Chef David Gaviola, trained in France with over 13 years of culinary experience, the company blends expert coordination with beautifully crafted cuisine. Their shared vision has built a reputation for thoughtful presentation, exceptional flavor, and seamless execution.
At Silver Spoon Specialties, every event is designed with a true sense of hospitality—anticipating needs, managing every detail, and creating stress-free, memorable experiences. From bespoke menu design and interactive culinary moments to staffing, rentals, and full event coordination, the team delivers polished, personalized service from planning through execution.
Family remains at the heart of everything they do. Over the years, Ian Burge (Culinary Arts & Nutrition student at Johnson & Wales University), Velina (bar manager and co-owner of Cocktails & Dreams Mobile Bar), and Charley Burge (event production and service team) have joined the operation, strengthening the hands-on, family-driven approach that defines the brand. Every event is treated with care, pride, and attention to detail—just like it’s for their own family.
